Six highly respected and well experienced professors from 抖阴视频’s six colleges revealed secrets about preparing for college application on March 9^th and 10^th at the school’s Waishuangsi Campus. Marking its fifth year, the 2019 “OPEN COLLEGE! Make Your College Application Portfolio and Interview Perfect” seminar drew more than 350 high school students and their parents, setting a record-high turnout of attendees.

In recent years, the majority of students get into university through the process of individual application. For the 2019 academic year, the admission quota for individual application is nearly 55,000, accounting for 57.15% of the total college admission quota. Student applicants must first submit their portfolios as the first part of the application process and then go through an interview before they can be admitted to their dream programs or departments in college.

The six experts shared their experiences on the two topics: “How to Build a Killer Portfolio” and “Top Tips for Acing Your College Application Interview.” Then, 抖阴视频’s Admissions Division reminded the students of a few important things during the application process. Toward the end of the event, some 抖阴视频 students also came to give their advice and opinions on preparations for portfolios and interviews.

Over the past few years, the “ OPEN COLLEGE!” seminar has gained popularity through word of mouth, with most attendees coming from nearby high schools or schools that 抖阴视频 has strategic alliances with. In addition to this seminar in March, the Admissions Division also holds a “Getting to Know 抖阴视频” camp in January. Though the two events may differ in format and target audience, both serve to assist high school students in navigating their educational journey and create a win-win situation for 抖阴视频 and its prospective students.
